The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal service organization of Catholic men. It is the largest organization of Catholic men in the world, with a membership of 1.6 million individuals. Today, we celebrate our 128th year of active and dynamic activity with the Catholic Church.

The Wenatchee council works closely with St Joseph Parish in Wenatchee, providing funds for various projects, and supports the parish priests in their various needs, and offers financial and other support to our seminarians. We serve a pancake breakfast to the parish after the 9:00am Mass every second? Sunday, by donation.

KC Help: We are proud of our "Knights of Columbus Help" program, whereby we supply hospital equipment, such as hospital beds, lift chairs, bath and shower chairs, free of charge, to anyone in the community who is in need, to use in their homes. We supply mobility divices, such as wheel chairs, walkers, and crutches. For information, please see the activities page.

The Wenatchee Council meets at 7:00 PM on the second Monday of each month, in the library of St Joseph Catholic Church, located at 625 Elliott Ave.

The Wenatchee Council of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1545, is asking for your support. Wenatchee Council 1545 has made a number of achievements this past year:

• We recently participated in Special Olympics by leading facilities and hospitality for each venue here in the Wenatchee Valley. We manned the hospitality tents at Mission Ridge and the Ice Skating Arena and Olympic village in Wenatchee as well as Basket Ball in all the East Wenatchee Schools.
• A number of years ago, we established the “Pennies for Heaven” fund used to support Seminarians. This is a designated fund for Seminarians only.
• We work throughout the year with Catholic Family and Child Services.
• We support Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts with cash contributions
• We maintain a concession booth at St. Joseph’s Annual Harvest Festival.
• We help at the Red Cross Blood Drives every two months throughout the year. We had a fine breakfast on October 10, 2010 during which a number of knights were busy,
• We put on a breakfast at St. Joseph School nearly every month.
• We support right to life organizations.
• We began KC-HELP in Wenatchee in l998 and it is incredibly successful today. We receive donated hospital equipment from the community, clean it, repair it and loan it out to the community at large for no cost. We operate completely on donations of money and time. Since it began, we have saved the community 1.64 million dollars in public aid and expenses. We grew so big and so quickly that we had to build a facility near the convent to house, clean and repair donated equipment. And that facility has grown so quickly that it was necessary this year to build yet another warehouse addition adjoining the first..

You will see us outside each mass during our public relations week asking for men to join us in our community service and Catholic mission for the shut ins and the needy.

Any Catholic man 18 years or older is welcome to become a brother Knight. You will see our members in red vests in the halls with answers to your questions. Please support us; please join us to become a dynamic part of St. Joseph’s mission to the community.
